CHI SIAMO ?

 

Tra le diverse realtà che si occupano di ICT a livello europeo, il CEPIS fondato nel 1989, rappresenta più di 450.000 professioniste e professionisti dell’ICT nei Paesi dell’Unione Europea ed è la sede naturale in cui viene promosso lo sviluppo delle competenze ICT in Europa.

 

Tra le varie attività svolte ai fini della promozione e sviluppo dell’ICT, il CEPIS ha attivato una serie di gruppi di lavoro, uno di questi è la Task Force Women in ICT, dedicata alla promozione della partecipazione delle donne nelle carriere del settore ICT.

 

La Task Force Women in ICT nasce quindi con l’intento di condividere le iniziative e le best practice che ciascun paese Europeo ha messo in campo in ambito educativo, per orientare un numero maggiore di ragazze e donne verso le professioni dell’ICT e in ambito lavorativo, per fare in modo che le donne rimangano nel mondo del lavoro nei diversi settori dell’ ICT.  

 

AICA è dal 1989 una delle associazioni fondatrici del CEPIS e della Task Force Women in ICT.

 

Da questo gruppo di lavoro internazionale, nasce Women in ICT AICA.

 

Tra le altre attività, nel 2018 la Task Force del CEPIS ha presentato alla Commissione Europea (CE) una lista di raccomandazioni per orientare e trattenere la partecipazione delle donne nell’ambito delle carriere Tecnologiche.

WHO ARE WE?

 

Among the different realities that deal with ICT at European level, CEPIS, founded in 1989, represents more than 450,000 ICT professionals in the countries of the European Union and is the natural location in which the development of ICT skills is promoted in Europe.

Among the various activities carried out for the promotion and development of ICT, CEPIS has activated a series of working groups, one of which is the Women in ICT Task Force, dedicated to the promotion of women's participation in ICT careers.

The Women in ICT Task Force was created with the aim of sharing the initiatives and best practices that each European country has put in place in the field of education, to orient a greater number of girls and women towards the ICT professions and in the workplace, to ensure women retention in the world of work in different ICT sectors. 

 

Since 1989, AICA has been one of the founding associations of CEPIS and member of the Women in ICT Task Force.

From this international working group, Women in ICT AICA was born in Italy.

 

In 2018 the CEPIS Task Force presented to the European Commission (EC) a list of recommendations to guide and retain the participation of women in technological careers.
