Nel sito web del CEPIS- Council of European Professional Informatics Societies- si parla del  progetto AICA Women in ICT- la rete italiana che promuove la presenza femminile nelle STEAM.

 

"AICA costruisce una rete "Le donne nell'ICT" in Italia

La necessità di aumentare il numero di donne che lavorano nelle professioni TIC sta diventando sempre più pressante: per questo motivo il CEPIS ha istituito nel 2012 la Task Force .

AICA, direttamente coinvolta nella task force del CEPIS fin dalla sua fondazione, ha costituito un proprio gruppo di lavoro, denominato 'AICA Women in ICT', con l'obiettivo di lavorare a livello nazionale  collaborando con altre organizzazioni italiane che promuovono la presenza femminile nelle STEAM.

AICA intende utilizzare i propri canali ufficiali per diffondere informazioni sulle attività e le iniziative organizzate in Italia e fungere da network hub per sostenere e collegare le varie iniziative.

Women in ICT AICA collabora anche con altre organizzazioni sostenendo iniziative specifiche nell'ambito degli eventi istituzionali di AICA."

AICA builds a ‘Women in ICT’ network in Italy

The need to increase the number of women working in ICT professions is becoming more and more pressing.That is why CEPIS established the Women in ICT taskforce in 2012.

AICA, which has been directly involved in the CEPIS taskforce since its foundation, has established its own workgroup, named Women in ICT AICA, aiming to work on a national level in Italy by cooperating with other Italian organisations promoting the female presence in STEAM. AICA intends to use its own official channels to spread information about the activities and initiatives organized in Italy, and act as a network hub to support and connect the various initiatives.

Women in ICT AICAalso cooperates with other organisations by supporting specific initiatives within AICA’s own institutional events.
